Country Club, London, 1970
This was one of the concerts I remember best. Pop journalist Pim Oets found out Muddy Waters was playing while we were in London. A pretty small hall, maybe 500 people. And the atmosphere – Wow! I was allowed to be very much in front, so I could use a wide angle lens. I realise now that Mr. Water was already pretty old in 1972, but what an energy! This is where I started to love the blues.
